Job Description
Position Summary
An enthusiastic communicator who will provide administrative and technical support to the Communications team. The appointed candidate will be responsible for supporting strategies that increase visibility of our brands to diverse audiences, expanding digital information and strengthening internal communication, whilst ensuring style and brand compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and update digital and marketing content for social media, hotel properties and websites
- Evaluate and assist with media enquiries, track and store media coverage
- Respond to all social media enquiries and online reviews
- Source quotes and manage procurement and inventory of branded collateral (invoicing and tracking of all orders, maintaining and managing store inventory, issuing requests)
- Assistance in planning and preparation for PR events & other scheduled events
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Effectively coordinate all advertising material to ensure proper distribution
- Update and maintain group databases, image and collateral libraries
- Compile digital activity reports
- Basic administrative duties to ensure smooth functioning of PR, Branding & Communications department

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Administration
- Post Secondary level of Education preferably in Communication Studies &/or Marketing.
- Education or training in Web design, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Advertising.
Experience:
At least two years experience in a similar role, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.
Other Skills and requirements:
- Excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent team player with strong relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail, Enthusiasm & drive
- Good command of English language, any other languages are an advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Passion for creative writing and thinking
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Word press, Blogging or web design experience
- Understands Google analytics and digital reporting (nice to have)
