Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for the welfare and comfort of the assigned Group under his supervision and must ensure that the tasks related to the Specific Group Technical / Itinerary / program are performed according to the company’s policy and procedures.
Duties:
- Prepare Technical / Itinerary for all arriving Groups & Book all services for the Groups e.g. Vouchers, Luggage trucks, Restaurant reservation, Cat Cocos Booking etc as requested by the group.
- Meet and greet of all groups / Inspection Visits, FAM trips on arrival and see off and assist on departure at the jetty/ or Airport/ or hotels. Establish personal contacts with all clients assigned. Supervising the loading of luggage and transfer to the respective hotels.
- Assist the Groups Executives with operations of Cruise ships handlings and Tours
- Assist clients with any holiday/hotel/travel arrangements, e/g settling complaints in liaison with hotel or Duty Manager, reconfirming all services including flights with airlines.
- Visit assigned Group at their respective hotels on a regular basis and /or prior to any big events of the Group e.g Excursions, Gala Dinners, Conference, Departures etc.
- Liaise with Groups Executives & Head of Departments regarding all schedules and program on a regular basis, transfer pick up times, arrival and departure details, excursion schedules, etc.
- Accompany groups on Inspection visits , groups excursions & Activities as and when required which may include relocation and over nights stays on other islands apart Mahe Island
- Undertake administrative duties as required by office procedures, e.g. maintaining a diary with all Groups Movements, booking ferry tickets, preparing LPO, organising Internal Office / Groups Dept Hotel/ Products visits by liaising with the suppliers etc.
- Assist with other duties such as Guiding, Accompanying FAM Trips with Marketing Dept, and Acting as Tour Leaders with Special Groups such as Club Med etc whenever required.
- Ensure positive relationship and communication levels with all suppliers and company departments.
- Any other related duties that may be assigned
Job Requirements
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):
- Certificate or Diploma in Tourism, O level in English and French. Knowledge of a third knowledge is desirable.
TRAINING (SKILLS):
- Good knowledge of the Seychelles Products
- Computing Skills (powerpoint / Excel/ Word)
- Public Relations skills
- Research skills
- Good knowledge of the destination in all its aspects
- Knowledge of the different markets
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one year related working experience

- Dynamic and able to work under pressure

- Punctual/reliable
- Able to work under minimum supervision
Working Hours
48 hours a week with one day off per week
Special Working Conditions
Flexible working arrangements depending on the needs of the clients. Able to work flexible & Odd Hours. ie Public Holidays, weekends , early morning & late evenings .
