Air Seychelles is in search of an individual to join our Ground Support Equipment team to conduct servicing tasks, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectifications as delegated by the Supervisor, whilst ensuring high quality standard of work and compliance to all relevant regulations.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that
meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline. - Maintain and repair a variety of equipment like forklifts and other airport vehicles.
- Operate company equipment and vehicles for proper service, safe operation, and immediately report all defects
and discrepancies. - Ensure the company and State Health Policy is adhered to within the areas of responsibility, included the proper usage of safety gear.
- Respond to work requirement outside of rostered shift when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness of vehicles and premises at all times.
- Promptly report significant defects encountered on work in progress to immediate supervisor.
- Conduct servicing task, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as delegated by the Supervisor.
- Ensure that all company and legal requirements relating to work document are duly compiled in compliance with SCAA regulations.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- Related technical training required-Any relevant certificate or diploma desirable, e.g. Motor Mechanic City and Guilds Advanced Certificate/Diploma*
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant hands-on work experience*
- Knowledge in maintaining ground support equipment, with the capability to work with a variety of repair and test equipment.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record within the past two years.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Capable of reading, understanding and interpreting technical documents such as repair manuals.
- Strong team player
- Possesses a safety-conscious approach to work
- Organized and responsible
- Good initiative
- Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays
- Good physical fitness and coordination-Ability to lift and move reasonable weight.
