Job Description
Summary of duties:
Guest and Client Services Department
- Liaise with all departments to meet guest needs.
- Ensure pre arrival information is available:
- Provide information about Eden Island facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Perform arrival services (meet & greet) in terms of:
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Payment process as well as damages deposits
- Ensure porter/shuttle to be available prior to arrival on departure and during guest stay
- Hand-over of unit
- Ensure guest satisfaction during/throughout stay
- Ensure guest is happy and resolve any problems with the best solution to solve the problem
- Arrange and manage check out to ensure a smooth departure process
- Ensure the key register is properly complete for signing in and out keys
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and guest interactions.
- Uphold compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Night Auditor Duties
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash, credit card, and other revenue streams.
- Prepare and distribute relevant daily reports for management review.
- Verify accuracy of guest accounts and correct any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and EILA policies.
Housekeeping Department
- Perform pre-arrival property checks in terms of cleaning standards (general), hygiene (bathrooms and kitchen), maintenance throughout property and functioning of aircons, lights, TV, DSTV, WIFI, plug points and electrical appliances
- Liaise with other relevant departments
- Arrange exit cleaning as early as possible and ensure all electrical items are switched off e.g. geysers, Acs.
- Exit inventory inspection and check after departure
- Ensure EPVs are clean and functional before arrival
- Ensure EPVs are returned back to property after departure and put on charge
- Ensure guest apartment and EPV key is returned at the Call Centre after departure

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or accounting preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
- Class 2 driving license
