The Islands Development Company Ltd is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates to join our team in the following position:
Hangar Assistant/ Aircraft Cleaner (X1)
Job Description
- Assist the maintenance staff with cleaning of various components during maintenance.
- Assist the maintenance staff with jacking operations of aircraft.
- Ensure all tools, including specialized equipment, are cleaned before and after use.
- Ensure that work areas are cleaned before and after maintenance are performed.
- Ensure that engine ground runs and aircraft dispatch areas are free of FOD’s.
- Clean, wash and polish the exterior of the aircraft.
- Vacuum and clean the interior of the aircraft including the cargo compartment.
- Always keep the hangar clear and clean.
- Ensure that oil and grease stores are clean and tidy.
- Any other related duties may be assigned.
Benefits
Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Certificate in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years’ relevant experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment, Line/Base Maintenance.
