Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Provide strategic and operational leadership for SMSA’s Praslin Office, ensuring effective delivery of maritime safety, security, registration, and hydrographic services on the island.
The head of Operations act as the CEO’s representative in Praslin, coordinating local staff, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with Seychelles maritime legislation, IMO conventions, and SMSA governance frameworks.
Benefits
Salary Band: B3 – B4 plus allowances
Job Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Diploma in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Public Administration or related field plus seven years relevant work experience; or
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Public Administration or related field plus five years relevant work experience.
