The Islands Development Company Ltd is looking for a suitably qualified and motivated candidate to occupy the following position:
Health & Safety Manager (based at head office)
Job Description
Summary of duties
- Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies and ensure legal compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections and accident investigations.
- Deliver health and safety training and promote a positive safety culture.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, first aid, fire safety and PPE management.
- Monitor workplace hazards, prepare monthly safety reports and implement the company’s drug and alcohol policy.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and pest control standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and legislation.
