Position Overview:

The Key Account Executive is responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships with the organization’s most important HORECA clients. This role focuses on understanding the needs and goals of key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving growth through strategic collaboration and effective communication. The Key Account Executive acts as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination to meet client expectations and company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to propose tailored solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.

Account Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with both client and company goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and recommend upselling or cross-selling solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align resources and capabilities with client needs.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal departments, ensuring that client needs are met efficiently.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on project status, performance metrics, and relevant industry trends.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on client commitments and resolve issues promptly.

Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:

  • Anticipate and address potential challenges or issues that may arise within key accounts.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes that may impact the client relationship in a professional and timely manner.

Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty through continuous feedback loops.

Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market developments that may impact key accounts.
  • Use market insights to proactively position the organization’s offerings to align with clients’ evolving needs.

Contract Management:

  • Collaborate with Procurement and finance teams to ensure contracts and agreements are accurately maintained and renewed on time.
  • Work in partnership with Procurement for New Product listing based on client request

Sales Forecasting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts based on understanding of clients’ buying behaviours and market trends.
