Job Description

This job entails the effective management of the landscape construction projects to be executed by Islandscapes Seychelles. Develops and monitors departmental structure and responsibilities to accomplish short-term and long-term goals.

Main Responsibility

• Establishes and maintains high horticultural standards and practices; providing direction, training and motivation for the horticultural staff.
• The incumbent is to understand and implement common project management, budget, human resource and reporting practices in order to ensure that projects are completed on time, to standard and within the required budget.
• This position requires specialist landscape construction ability as well as superior planning and coordination skills.
• The incumbent will need to be proficient at generating quotations for variation works and managing those variations as part of the project.
• The primary function of this position is to oversee the smooth running of the various components of the landscape construction operations to ensure our customers are satisfied and that opportunities are maximized.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with horticulture and/or garden landscape maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• 3-5 years’ managerial experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
