1 x Hostess/Cashier

Job Description

• Must be able to communicate well with guests, oversee greeting and arrange seating of guests.  Taking reservations and arranging table seating charts
• Manage waitlist- adding guests to waitlist and keeping them informed of wait time.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction
• Accountable for recording of all sales of food, beverage, alcohol and non-food items, including deli items.
• Accountable for all cash, cheque and credit card payments.
• Daily reconciliation of cash register
• Take away orders- overseeing packaging and completion of order for guests.
• Dealing with customer queries and requests
• Customer service excellence in accordance with company standard.
• Experience on Restaurant point of sales system a bonus. Training provided.

Benefits

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy Restaurant in a same or similar role.
• Reliable, good attendance and time keeping are imperative.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Multitasking.
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communication
• Good telephone etiquette.

Requirements

• Full time or part time position.
• Weekends and Shift Work required- SUNDAYS OFF
• Seychellois candidates only.
