RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Administrative Officer

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness within the ministry’s office premises. This position involves various housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing office spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash bins, segregate waste, and ensure proper disposal following established guidelines.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as consumables, toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials in restrooms and common areas.
• Support in setting up and cleaning before and after official events or meetings as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the Senior Administrative Officer or designated personnel.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good time management skills and reliability in meeting assigned schedules.
