Job Summary

Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the management of the SCAA IT Section, ensuring that responsibilities are carried out effectively and efficiently in line with the IT Masterplan and SCAA strategic objectives. Responsible for formulating and overseeing all IT-related Projects throughout its lifecycle.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive technological development in SCAA with respect to ICT innovation and automation. Leverage technology to build value across departments and business units, set strategic, tactical and operational objectives for the ICT section to support SCAA`s business objectives.
• Lead ICT Service Management (ITSM) practices within the organization and ensure the right mix of people, processes and technology are in place to provide value.
• Head and develop the ICT Business service continuity program.
• Develop the ICT Team and Personnel through relevant empowerment, human resource frameworks and processes to ensure effectiveness of their roles.
• Develop and manage organization-wide ICT budgets while ensuring alignment with the organization’s financial goals.
• Drive compliance to the organizations Procurement process and ensure closure of ICT audit findings.
• Assist and support management/executive teams to make informed decisions through the provision of credible data relating to the ICT industry.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Design, plan and launch any projects required to meet and/or implement set operational objectives.
• Be the Project Manager on any ICT project that are classified as major capital project.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or relevant field.
• ITIL Intermediate certification.
• Prince2 certification; or
• 5+ years in Senior ICT Administrator’s post or equivalent.
