Insurance Technicians (La Digue x 1 and Mahe x 2)
Job Description
As a member of the team, you will be responsible to execute the assessment and evaluation of applications for insurance transactions, and the efficient underwriting process in line with KYC and AML regulations, and through the provision of excellent customer service.
Main Roles
- Review insurance applications by checking proposal forms, provide quotes, provide technical support and assistance to the underwriters as needed for the issuance and service of policies and endorsements.
- Calculate premiums for clients.
- Liaise with Claims Section on claims history of Policyholders.
- To provide appropriate pricing according to the risk level.
- To process the following: policy amendments, cancellations, lapses and assignments.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and Company standards.
- Selling a range of insurance products.
- Visit existing and potential clients on a regular basis.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Accounting and Finance or
- CII Certificate
and/or
- Diploma in Office Management
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Insurance sector

- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational skills and be able to work independently
- Good IT, numerical and analytical skills
- Experience in Sales techniques
