Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under the supervision and guidance of Assistant Internal Auditor undertake simple procedures on site which includes:
  • Physical verification of stores, inventory and stocks
  • Cash counts
  • Financial review, analytical review and budget analysis
  • Compliance reviews in accordance with audit manuals, accounting manuals, procurement manuals, PSO manuals and other relevant guidelines
• Acquire/familiarize with the concept of risk, risk evaluation and various risks associated with financial operations.
• Liaise with operational staff of client places within MDA’s such as Cashiers, Store Keepers etc.
• Other relevant duties which may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements:

• ACCA foundation or equivalent related qualification; or
• Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent; or
• A Level in Accounting plus two year’s work experience in Finance and Accounting related functions; or
• Work experience in compliance audit functions
