Job summary
Carry out internal audits in accordance with approved programs either individually or as a member of a team to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over the operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Develop practical audit programs for assigned operations
- Participate in the establishment of the internal audit scope and annual plans/ charter and budget.
- Maintain effective working relations with executives, management and the audit committee.
- Provide support during external audits as needed.
- Prepare long-range schedules of audit program for assigned audit locations.
- Identify those activities subject to audit coverage, evaluate their significance, and assess the degree of risk in the activity.
- Participate in the establishment of standards of performance and, by review, determine that performance meets the standards and goals.
- Provide the Internal Audit Manager with reports on audit coverage and the result of the audit activity
- Perform follow-up with management on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor accomplishment of objectives directed toward increasing the internal audit department’s ability to serve management.
- Coordinate audit work of the Audit Technician and Audit Officer.

Job Requirements
Entry requirements:
- Degree in auditing/ accounting/ finance/ ACCA applied skills level with at least 3 years working experience in auditing or
- ACCA level 4 plus Certificate in Internal Audit & Risk with 5 years’ experience in auditing.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, procedures, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit software
