Job Description

Looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who can efficiently operate and proactively manage the IT Infrastructure of the Company, (such as Cloud Platforms, Storage Systems, IT Applications).

This role includes the designing, deploying and maintaining the infrastructure using latest technology ensuring that all available systems within the organisation functions efficiently and faultless. Must have good knowledge of Internet connections, cabling, virtualisation platforms and storage area networks.

Candidate must possess strong work ethics, is reliable and dependable, confident and a trustworthy person. Is also responsible to manage the security of systems in-house and manage application information transfers.

Candidate must be ambitious and a professionally driven person, willing to take on additional learning to remain abreast with evolving technology.

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT related field.
• Microsoft MCSE, MCP Azure Fundamental
• VMware certification
• CompTIA A+ / Network+
• Cisco CCENT certification
• Office 365
• Data centre infrastructure and facilities experience
• English/French fluency (Spoken/written)
• Driving licence

Desired experience:

• Previous Working experience in telco environment

Skills/Experience/Competencies

• Microsoft Server / Active Directory /DNS / DHCP / Linux
• Microsoft Group Policy
• File server
• Endpoint protection
• Virtualization – VMware vSphere / EXSI
• SAN systems – NetApp / Dell / HP /QSAN
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
• Basic Networking experience to include LANs, WANs, and VPNs
• Backup systems and solutions – Veeam
• Cloud based system – Office 365
• Change Management process
• Identity & Access Management
• ERP admin system support – Security administrator security role (user creation/security management) / System administrator security role (system security management)
• HR & Payroll admin system support – User creation/security management / System backup
