Atom Engineering, a Seychellois owned Engineering Design firm involved in mostly industrial and commercial development engineering, is seeking to employ dedicated, career oriented Engineering Personnel (Structural and Civil).

Job Description

1. The Candidate shall have at least 5 year of experience in in a similar role.
2. The Candidate will be working remotely.
3. The Candidate will be involved in a high-end hospitality project.
4. The Contract is for a Fixed Term (18 months).
5. The position is a fly-in and fly-out basis – 6 weeks on 1 week off.
6. The Candidate will be able to work with CAD software to an advanced level.
7. The Candidate will be able to use CAD programs to produce documentation such as drawings, geospatial data, bar bending schedules data etc.
8. The Candidate will be practical-minded and be able to translate the Design Engineer’s intent into a practical solution for execution by Builders.
9. The Candidate should possess strong knowledge of construction practice.
10. The Candidate will have a proven track record in QA/QC and formal record keeping and approval protocol on a construction site.
11. Organisational skills are critical. The candidate will be expected to plan and manage their time in order to meet the demands and requirements of Clients and Builders.
12. The Candidate will be required to perform some document control in the form of maintaining drawing numbers and filing of drawing registers according to Atom Engineering’s standards.
13. The Candidate should possess excellent communication skills. This includes management of electronic communications as well as clarity of verbal communication.
14. As an individual, the Candidate should possess a strong work ethic and be willing to work odd hours from time to time. A strong sense of discipline is required.
15. Any other duties assigned by the Director.
