Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Key Accounts Executive in the Retail department, you will play a crucial role in managing and fostering relationships with our key clients. Your primary focus will be on maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within your assigned key accounts. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and concerns.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing clients’ queries promptly, and resolving issues effectively.
- Sales Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within assigned key accounts.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
- Business Development:
- Proactively seek out and explore new business opportunities within existing key accounts.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential areas for growth.
- Collaborative Approach:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align efforts and support key accounts effectively.
- Account Planning:
- Develop comprehensive account plans that outline strategies and action plans to achieve sales and growth objectives.
- Regularly review and update account plans based on changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Forecasting and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress against sales targets.
- Generate regular reports and present performance updates to management.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate favourable terms and contracts with key clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that meet the company’s objectives.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Professional Representation:
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and build valuable networks.
