We are inviting applications for the position of KYC TEAM LEADER to support our compliance efforts. The successful candidate will proactively safeguard the Bank’s regulatory and reputational standing by leading customers onboarding and KYC review activities, ensuring full compliance with AML/CFT regulations, and maintaining high standards of data quality, controls, and customer service.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing end-to-end customer onboarding and periodic KYC/EDD reviews
- Ensure full compliance with AML/CFT requirements and CBS directives
- Monitor high-risk, PEP, and adverse media cases and escalate where required
- Lead ongoing and event-driven KYC monitoring cycles
- Maintain accurate KYC records and ensure audit readiness
- Prepare Management information and Compliance Reports
- Support internal and external audits and close findings within deadlines
- Lead, mentor, and monitor team performance against agreed targets
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality and customer service
Job Requirement
Education, Competencies & Work Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Banking, Finance, or Administration
- 1-2 years’ experience in banking, KYC, or compliance
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience will be an advantage
