Are you passionate about nature and skilled in creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces? Canopy by Hilton Seychelles is looking for a Landscaping Supervisor to oversee the lush landscapes that enhance our eco-conscious hotel’s charm and guest experience.
Position Overview
As the Landscaping Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the hotel’s gardens, grounds, and outdoor areas. You’ll lead a dedicated team to ensure our property remains a stunning showcase of Seychelles’ natural beauty while aligning with Canopy’s commitment to sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise the landscaping team in daily operations, including planting, pruning, weeding, and irrigation system maintenance.
- Design, plan, and implement landscape improvements to enhance the aesthetic and environmental appeal of the property.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the grounds are impeccably maintained and safe for guests and team members.
- Develop and manage schedules for routine landscaping tasks and seasonal projects.
- Monitor the use of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure proper care and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate landscaping with the overall guest experience.
- Uphold eco-friendly practices, such as waste reduction, water conservation, and the use of native plants.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping techniques.
- Creative problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
