Job Description
Position Summary
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring the efficient and timely processing of linens, towels, and other laundry items. This position requires attention to detail, an understanding of various washing, drying, and folding techniques, and the ability to follow safety procedures in handling chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
- Previous laundry experience is required.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, reach, and stretch to perform laundry duties.
