Job Description
Responsibilities
- Teach and instruct learners to Advanced Certificate level.
- Maintain equipment in the mechanical work shop including tools and marine machinery.
- Instruct learners in Welding and Fabrication.
- Assist Head of Programmes in Marine Mechanics in developing curriculum.
- Establish learner discipline according to SMA code of conduct.
Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience in marine engineering and academic qualifications. or as stipulated in the relevant scheme of service.
Job Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Proven practical experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of marine inboard and outboard motors.
Desirable Attributes:
- Certificate of Competency (COC) in Maritime Engineering.
- A Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Maritime Studies.
- Demonstrated teaching and/or training experience.
- Experience in workshop practices, with a strong ability in welding and fabrication.
