Air Seychelles is in search of VIP Lounge Officer to maintain a courteous and efficient operation of the VIP Lounge by providing exceptional service and assistance to all the lounge’s guests.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Provide first class customer services to the Lounge’s guests at all times, including during flight delays.
• Anticipate the needs of Lounge guests and take note of special requests, likes and dislikes and ensure reasonable requests are carried out.
• Conduct constant monitoring of incoming local bookings and send out confirmation; attend to last minute bookings.
• Prepare daily fast-track list, name placards and movements and send to authorities concerned.
• Ensure the professional presentation and service of food and beverages in compliance with stipulated standards.
• Maintain an exceptional standard of product knowledge to promote the lounge products.
• Assist guests with diverse range of enquiries.
• Place orders for supplies and record deliveries of supplies.
• Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of the lounge.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile:

• Graduate of a post-secondary institution, with IGCSE/O’ Level certificates or equivalent, as a minimum qualification *
• 1 to 2 years work experience in a related/similar role (hospitality/service industry, ideally in a Food and Beverage role) preferred *
• Fluency in English and French.
• Excellent customer service skills and having a customer-focused attitude with a positive ‘can-do’ approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Pleasant disposition with a mature and courteous approach.
• Excellent grooming standards.
