Maintenance & Grounds Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance & Grounds Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repairs, upkeep and presentation of the Cosmoledo property and operational facilities.
The role covers general building maintenance, grounds and landscaping, runway and external areas, camp facilities, staff areas and general maintenance equipment.
The Technician is expected to identify maintenance requirements early, complete repairs within their skills and approved scope, carry out preventive maintenance and report issues requiring additional technical support.
The position supports a safe, functional and well-presented environment for guests and staff and must work in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, environmental standards and applicable IDC & ICS guidelines.
Working Hours: 60 Hours per week

Job Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, landscaping or a similar practical role.
- Practical knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and general building maintenance.
- Experience using common maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to carry out inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Ability to priorities work according to operational requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small island-based team.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Able to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
