Air Seychelles is in search of a Manager E-commerce who will deliver and manage all e-commerce products, especially oriented towards the online booking engine in order to achieve revenue and customer service targets.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Responsible for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and the optimization of all critical revenue making E-commerce systems.
- Implement full airseychelles.com platform and supporting elements to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Accountable for leading, building and maintaining effective relationship with vendors to support the delivery of business objectives. Put in place mechanisms to actively drive and manage partner performance and value.
- Lead all aspects of the Incident management process, decision making, execution and process improvement on the business side.
- Accountable for the stability of all critical E-Commerce products including airseychelles.com website, online booking engine, ancillaries, online check-in, payment gateway, mobile app.
- Conduct end-to-end problem management that includes planning and identifying resources, and cross functional coordination and communication with other stakeholders within the company.
- Review, align and optimize E-Commerce business processes and functions to effectively use new tools and features provided, and continuously enhance the product.
- Perform gap analysis on technology solutions proposed, process and organization/resources. Conduct impact analysis of business requirements on existing technology platform, present findings and facilitate troubleshooting and resolution.

Our Preferred Profile
- Degree holder ideally E-commerce and Technology
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience and 2 years at management level.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing, managing and optimizing airline E-commerce platform and supporting systems like corporate website and e-commerce platform.
- In-depth knowledge of current web technologies, airline/corporate digital solution.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce systems and the current standards and emerging internet technologies, direct distribution and channel management.
- Specific knowledge in digital distribution channels (E-Commerce, Mobile Commerce and self service).
- Thorough knowledge of reservation and ticketing, online payment and online settling techniques.
- Understanding of revenue management processes and procedures.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Strong project management and business analysis skills.
- Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
