We are looking for one potential candidate to join the Risks & Compliance Department in the position of Manager.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop risk registers for all units and develop a risk rating framework for new products and vendors.
- Review company processes, standard operating procedures and systems to ensure that they are regularly updated to meet the set regulations, policies, and all other requirements.
- Develop an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure that all business risks and threats are identified, assessed, and controlled.
- Within the ERM framework, develop a system to ensure suspicious transactions are flagged and reported without tipping off.
- Continuously identify areas of compliance weakness through ad hoc testing and recommend remedial measures in consultation with the top management and Heads of Departments.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of processes with reference to standard operating procedure, regulations and best practices.
- Support the team in management and remediation of a compliance breaches and control weaknesses.
- Advise management on applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards in the risk & compliance environment and advise on any emerging developments.
- Continuously scan environmental risks and identify new threats and opportunities that may impact the business.
- Any other duties that may be assigned directly or indirectly associated with the risks/audit function.

Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)
- Sound knowledge of risk and compliance.

- Good organizational skills, work prioritisation and follow up ability.

- Able to maintain a high level of discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Risk Management (CMIRM or equivalent); OR
- Accounting qualifications (ACCA or equivalent); OR
- Professional qualification in insurance (ACII or equivalent) with 5 years’ experience or more in similar position.
