Marine Upholstery Technician
Job Description
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs, restores damage and assembles interior components for all cat cocos vessels seats with soft padded textile covering features using materials such as fabrics, leather , plastics, PVC curtains etc
- Ability to accurately measure , cut , fit and sew fabric, leather materials and PVC curtains.
- Ability to operate specialized industrial sewing machines.
- Manufacture or repair wear and tear apparels by making sure that threads are selected according to specifications
- To perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements
Minimum job entry requirements
- Graduate with certificate in marine upholstery
- Plus four years post qualifying experience as marine upholsterer
- Experience in creating patterns to fit model/year vessels, with customization.
- Familiarity with industrial sewing machines & industrial cutting equipment ( knife etc.)
- knowledge of design, fabrication, patterning, and installation of marine fabricated items
- Eye for detail, shaping, symmetry and design
- Proficiency in basic math, calculation and taking accurate measurements.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up items occasionally
