Job Description
Summary of duties:
The Marketing Executive will implement the tasks in line with the marketing strategies and communication plans to promote our brand, products and services. This role involves creating and managing content, assisting with management of website and social media platforms, assisting with marketing campaigns, assisting with market research and working closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to align marketing and communication strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and informative content for various channels, including social media, website, adverts, newsletters, and press releases
- Assist in managing and growing the company’s social media presence, including creating content calendars, monitoring engagement, and responding to customer inquiries
- Assist with marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, direct mail, events, and community outreach
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all communication channels
- Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials in the absence of the Marketing and Communication Manager
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and industry networks
- Assist with the coordination of PR campaigns, events, and media coverage
- Assist with market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
- Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders as needed
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management
- Assist in the development of philatelic products
Job Requirements
Qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing or a similar role
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
- Proficiency in using marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, CRM systems)
- Proficiency in the use of content creation software (e.g. Canva, Adobe, CapCut, Light Room)
- Knowledge of basic photography and filming techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication in all three national languages
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of the postal or logistics industry is a plus
