Post Title: Meter Reader Assistant Manager
Division: Commercial and Customer Services
Job Description
Summary of Duties
- Prepare monthly meter reading schedules to ensure all meters are read within the billing cycle in collaboration with the Supervisor
- Coordinate access arrangements where customer premises are inaccessible
- Monitor and report suspected or defective meters and follow up for corrective action
- Ensure that meter reading is done within a consistent time frame
- Download and upload data from meter reading devices daily
- Consult with the Supervisor and Manager regarding inconsistencies and ensure prompt resolution
- Provide regular progress and activity reports to the Manager
- Oversee staff compliance with company rules, procedures, and performance expectations
- Monitor and report on staff movement, punctuality, absenteeism, and welfare
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Management
- Experience in Management will be an advantage
- Good command of English written and verbal
- Must have good reporting skill
Skills and Competencies
- Must be customer oriented with good communication skills
- Must be conversant with Microsoft Office
- Must have high level of confidentiality
- Must have good time management skills and give good attention to details
