Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation and review of the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation System for the Ministry and Agencies, including key Performance Monitoring and Evaluation standards and methodologies, monitoring tools and evaluation types and methods, guidelines and processes to ensure alignment with the National Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Policy Framework;
- Assist with the designing of monitoring tools (financial and non-financial), standards, methodologies, and guidelines to encourage and harmonize performance monitoring across the Ministry and Agencies
- Facilitate and undertake field monitoring programmes for actual verification of the level of implementation of policies and strategies
- Compile and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports
- Organize feedback sessions with stakeholders as and when necessary
- Monitor the development and execution of policies, projects and programs to ensure alignment with the Ministry’s strategic plan;
- Liaise with and provide Monitoring and Evaluation information (as and when required) to the National Monitoring and Evaluation team at PSB;
- Participate in the formal/informal Monitoring and Evaluation training local and overseas for performance improvement and networking opportunities;
- Analyze performance data and prepare Monitoring and Evaluation reports on the progress of programmes and projects
- Liaise with and provide Monitoring and Evaluation information (as and when required) to the National Monitoring and Evaluation team at PSB;
- Organize and provide training for the Ministry and Agency’s staff on Monitoring and Evaluation best practices to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Benefits
Salary Band: SB4 – SB5
Job Requirements
Minimum requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Master’s Degree in any field relevant to the technical area of employment i.e. Social Science, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics or related field
