Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with in-depth knowledge of the SYSPRO system to oversee and optimize our company’s operational processes. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring the effective use of the SYSPRO ERP software. This role requires a strong understanding of the SYSPRO system and the ability to leverage its features to enhance productivity and streamline business operations.

Key Responsibilities

SYSPRO System Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for all SYSPRO-related activities within the organization. Administer and maintain the SYSPRO ERP system, including user access, configuration, and updates. Collaborate with IT and system administrators to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues or errors. Stay current with SYSPRO system updates and best practices and implement new features to improve operational efficiency.

Operational Management:

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency. Oversee inventory management, production planning, procurement, and order processing using the SYSPRO system. Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting within the system. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the operations team, identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance as needed. Excellent knowledge of Syspro serial tracking and Bin administration is a pre-requisite. Ensure the smooth operation between WMS Scanners and Syspro.

Process Improvement:

Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization using the SYSPRO system. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows. Continuously improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity through process enhancements.

Training and Development:

Provide training to staff members on the effective use of the SYSPRO system and related processes. Stay informed about system updates and educate team members about new features and functionalities. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the operations department.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Generate reports and analyze data within the SYSPRO system to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning. Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor operational performance and track progress. Prepare regular reports for management to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Professional
• Microsoft Certified Professional in Systems Engineer
• Senior Certificate
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or a similar role with 5 years.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the SYSPRO ERP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in optimizing operational processes and achieving efficiency improvements.
