Job Description
Develop new business and manage customer relationships in the field as Sofap Seychelles’ primary market-facing sales representative. Visit contractors, developers, architects and commercial customers; build and maintain an active customer portfolio; identify new sales opportunities; prepare and follow up quotations; promote Sofap products and provide product/technical advice. Monitor competitor activity and customer requirements, obtain suitable customer colour samples and assist with colour matching when required. Coordinate with the shop and store team on orders and deliveries, assist with stocktakes and sales reporting, and carry out urgent or smaller customer deliveries when required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday as a half-day. Working hours will follow the applicable Seychelles employment requirements and the company’s approved work schedule.

Job Requirements
- Knowledge or education in paints, coatings, chemicals, construction or a related technical field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ proven sales and customer-relations experience; field/outdoor sales or business-development experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build and retain customer accounts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer-first attitude, commercial awareness and initiative.
- Good computer skills and the ability to prepare quotations and reports.
- Paint, coatings, hardware or construction-material experience is advantageous.
- Valid driving licence required, with the ability to travel and carry out customer deliveries when required.
