Job Description

Build a career in Consumer dynamic Team:

Main accountabilities include:

  • To be the initial and primary point of face to face customer contact within the Branch
  • To be responsible for customer facing sales and service activities.
  • To undertake customer servicing initiatives/requirements for face to face customers to pre-determined service standards
  • To undertake in-branch marketing, special campaigns, promotions
  • To manage and  with handle customer  complaints in the Branch

5 days /Week

Job Requirements

Education/Environment

  • Diploma in Business Studies and Accounting
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Banking

Technical Skills

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Fully conversant with all Personal Sector products/services/tariffs
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant Customer systems in order to sell
  • Good knowledge of Bank’s internal systems
  • Awareness of Group Services e.g. Barclaycard, Credit Scoring Unit and Central Operations Processing
  • A detailed knowledge of the Bank’s Account Opening Policies and Procedures
  • A detailed understanding of Central Bank’s regulations on Treasury management and handling
  • A detailed understanding of the Bank’s treasury operational and security procedures
  • A good understanding of operational, exchange and cash handling risks
  • A good understanding of the banks operational systems
  • A good awareness of the Banks service standards

Knowledge, Expertise & Experience

  • A working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, e.g. KYC, Money laundering, banking code, service standards, health & safety standards etc.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of banking cash management procedures
  • A good understanding of the outlet’s performance objectives – growth of sales, risk, rigour, cost control and income contribution.
  • An awareness of all Barclays Retail products and services
  • A detailed knowledge of the Bank’s Account Opening Policies and Procedures
  • A detailed understanding of Central Bank’s regulations on Treasury management and handling.
  • A good understanding of operational, exchange and cash handling risks
  • A good understanding of the banks operational systems including Win-FOS, BRAINS etc.
  • A good awareness of the Banks service standards.
  • Awareness of Group Services e.g. Barclaycard, Credit Scoring Unit and Central Operations Processing
  • A good awareness of the Banks service standards.
