The Seychelles Land Transport Agency is seeking a reliable and experienced Plant Operator to join our team for road construction and asphalting works.
Post Title: Plant Operator (Praslin)
Job Description
Summary of duties:
- Operate heavy machinery including Pavers, Rollers, Excavators, and JCB’s.
- Carry out road construction, rehabilitation, and asphalting activities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently in accordance with organization procedures.
- Assist in site preparation, paving, compaction, excavation, and other related road works.
Benefits
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in accordance with the applicable Scheme of Service.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Driving Licence No. 7 (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating heavy construction machinery.
- Proven experience in road construction and asphalt paving projects.
- Good understanding of equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
