The Islands Development Company Ltd is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates to join our team in the following position:

Porter/ Loader (X1)

Job Description

• Assist passengers with baggage check-in.
• Weighing luggage and freight and tagging appropriately for respective flights.
• Carries to and from aircraft, load and unload baggage and freight according to loading instructions and procedures of IDC.
• Assist passengers to board and disembark from aircraft.
• Attend to arriving and departing flights, paying particular attention to closing and opening aircraft doors including front and rear baggage holds.
• Positioning and removing Pogo stick.
• Clean premises occupied by loader/porter and ensure that Porter’s restroom is always kept clean and tidy.
• Maintain the official vehicles (Truck & Car) in clean, polished, and flawless operating conditions.
• Any other associated duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Job Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Secondary School certificate.
• National Exam School certificate in English, French and Mathematics.
• Must have a pleasant personality and communicate clearly in English, French and Creole
