We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to efficiently manage local and international procurement, with a strong emphasis on airfreight operations, maritime logistics, and customs clearance.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Airfreight & Maritime Logistics:
- Coordinate and manage airfreight shipments for time-sensitive orders, ensuring fast and efficient delivery to Seychelles.
- Handle maritime freight operations, including container shipments and logistics coordination.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and airlines to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
Procurement & Supplier Management:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers from various countries to secure quality products at competitive prices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
Order Management:
- React swiftly to urgent procurement requests and ensure timely placement of orders.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from purchase orders to final delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
Customs & Clearance:
- Manage customs clearance processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any delays or issues in customs or freight handling.
Cost Optimization & Reporting:
- Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and delivery performance.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement management, with a focus on airfreight and maritime logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and clearance processes.
- Experience in fast-paced procurement environments requiring quick decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
