NOTICE OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

PROCUREMENT OF RADIATOR COOLER UNITS FOR THE ROCHE CAIMAN POWER STATION

The Public Utilities Corporation wishes to inform interested parties that it will be undertaking the Procurement of Replacement Radiator Cooler Units for its Power Plant at Roche Caiman, through the adoption of a Limited Bidding Method under Section 61 2 (a) of the Public Procurement Act 2008.

This is on the grounds of restricted qualified manufacturers of radiator coolers, especially for industrial applications such as power plants.

The proposed shortlisted bidders are as follows:

• Wartsila Global Logistics Services
• Modine Söderköping AB
• Kelvion:

This tender is restricted only to potential manufacturers of radiators within the required timeframe. Expression of Interest must be submitted by a sole firm only. No joint venture is allowed.

Scope of Work

The scope of work includes the following:

• Design and Engineering: Detailed design of radiator cooler units in accordance with power plant specifications.
• Compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Manufacture: Fabrication of radiator cooler units using high-quality materials. Rigorous quality control measures to ensure durability and performance.
• Supply: Delivery of radiator cooler units within the agreed timeframe.
• Technical Support: On-site installation support. Post-delivery maintenance and troubleshooting assistance.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested suppliers must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing and supplying radiator cooler units for power plants or similar industrial applications.
• Quality Assurance: ISO 9001 certification or equivalent quality management system certification.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Technical Capability: Access to advanced manufacturing facilities and technology.
• Skilled engineering and technical staff.
• Financial Stability: Demonstrated financial stability and capacity to undertake the project.

Submission Requirements

Interested suppliers should submit the following information:

• Company Profile: Overview of the company, including history, ownership, and organizational structure.
• Details of relevant experience and past projects.
• Technical Proposal: Detailed description of the proposed radiator cooler unit design and specifications.
• Information on materials, manufacturing process, and quality control measures.
• Certifications: Copies of relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
• References: Contact details of at least three (3) clients for whom similar projects have been completed.
• Financial Information: Audited financial statements for the past two (2) years.
• Delivery Schedule: Proposed timeline for the manufacturing and delivery of the radiator cooler units.
