Job Summary

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze Ministry’s projects and identify the areas of collaboration, partnership and prepare concept notes;
  2. Identify the available infrastructure and other public resources which could be leveraged for the project through development of a vibrant partnership with government agencies;
  3. Identify and create the inventory of the local business environment and opportunities which could be leveraged for achieving project target;
  4. Develop the reporting process on mobilization, skill development, and placement linked jobs initiatives and the entrepreneurship component of the project or on any other activity /task for the programme implementation;
  5. Conduct field visits to support implementation of project through close working relationship with implementing agencies;
  6. Develop and manage a calendar and a budget for projects ;
  7. Manage and facilitate flow of essential information among related stakeholders;
  8. Establish quantitative staffing model to describe staffing resource level to execute strategies given their specific execution choices;
  9. Establish and record policies and procedures for maintaining and using tool and process, ensuring data integrity and consistent use across foundation.
  10. Develop factsheets and collate recent data relating to projects;
  11. Provide assistance by participating, documenting and preparing the minutes of the meetings of the programme activities for follow up action plan;
  12. Develop monthly/quarterly reports;
  13. Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time

Benefits

Salary grade: SB4–SB5

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification & Requirement

  1. Degree in relevant field plus two years post qualifying work experiences; OR
  2. Advanced Diploma/Diploma in relevant field plus 3  years satisfactory work experience as Assistant Project Officer

  1. Creative, innovative and a team player;
  2. Able to manage diversity, conflict and change;
  3. Able to conduct research and write proposals;
  4. Must be Microsoft word proficient;
  5. Able to communicate effectively;
  6. Have strategic perspective, presentation, conceptual, analytical, planning, negotiation, networking, judgment and decision making skills; and
  7. Computer literate.
