Position Summary

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all public spaces within the facility, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to deliver a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. The Public Area Attendant plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for guests and visitors, contributing to the overall guest experience.

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, and other common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces as needed to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other restroom necessities.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste throughout public areas.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and functionality of public restrooms and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure floors, windows, furniture, and other public space amenities are spotless and well-arranged.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or assistance in public areas.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to the appropriate department.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, especially in a public-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
