Job Description
Job Summary
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the stock of all items stored at the workshop.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the store keeper in; receiving, issuing and returns of all stock items
- Ensure proper documentation are used in all the store’s operation
- Check and verify all receipts for any discrepancies, and maintain proper file for each type of document
- Prepare periodic stock reports as required, and attending stock taking as requested
- Update the stock computerized information system, Batching all documents for computer process and verification of all postings
- Update all bin cards up on receipts and issue of goods
- Ensure proper management of the stock. Where improvement in procedure is required immediately notify Manager – Operations
- Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing
- Ensuring relevant procurement procedures have been applied and all supporting documentation is attached
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and renegotiate prices on a regular basis
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Effectively and efficiently maintain the standards of the (ISO) quality management system of company.
- Any other related duties that may be assigned.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):
- Polytechnic level of education
TRAINING (SKILLS):
- Computer literate with proven ability in MS Office Word and Outlook, database software
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have good command of written and spoken English and French
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three years working experience

WORKING HOURS
49 hours per week
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Can be requested to work outside the normal working hours and days due to exigencies of duty. Flexible working hours
