Gym Receptionist

The Gym Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all members and visitors, representing the brand and culture of the facility. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage check-ins, new member registrations, and bookings for classes/services
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
• Process memberships, payments, and renewals accurately
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional front of house area
• Support sales efforts by promoting memberships, packages, and gym services
• Assist with member retention by building strong relationships and providing excellent service
• Resolve basic member concerns or escalate issues where necessary
• Coordinate with trainers and management to ensure smooth daily operations

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role
• Own transport or residing near the gym in Perseverance.
• Ability and willingness to work shifts (Alternating between morning and afternoon shifts)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Basic administrative and computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised

Preferred (but not essential):

• Experience working in a gym, fitness, or hospitality environment
• Sales or upselling experience
• Knowledge of gym membership systems or booking software

Working hours: 45 hours per week and able to work morning and afternoon shifts.
