Job Description

PURPOSE

We are looking for a committed, resilient, industrious, REGIONAL MANAGER to oversee our business operations in Praslin and La Digue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate, monitor, and manage the Praslin and La Digue geographic region
  • Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
  • Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Support implementation of new products and clients regionally
  • Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Acts a subject matter expert on operational procedures and practices
  • Support the warehouse Manager with day-to-day store operation
  • Direct the development and execution of regional business plans.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports of operations and finances.
  • Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
  • Foster a culture grounded in accountability, teamwork and passion for delivering results.
  • Work hand-in-hand with senior management Mahe (serving as a link between them and the Praslin department)
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
  • Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
  • Ensure the quality management system procedures and processes are implemented and maintained
  • Oversee service and quality standards in accordance with company needs and customer requirements
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures; prepare reports on performance and potential improvements for operation.
  • Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Provide accurate and timely submission of key quality, financial and safety reports
  • Multitasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time
  • Problem-solving skills, especially in situations of high stress
  • Strong knowledge of company policy, goals and standards
  • Organizational skills to manage large amounts of information
  • Ability to generate a variety of reports and presentations displaying regional performance
  • Ability to work as part of a team is very important because a good PRM will work with a lot of people to be able to achieve required results
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, which may include weekends
  • Ability to manage a complex environment in anticipation of emerging crisis and opportunities
  • Driven by a constant focus of impeccable customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or 5– 10 yrs industry relevant experience
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Syspro & Ritescan7 (min 5 years)
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced management on retail (FMCG); wholesale, supplier, service, provider, business to business
