Job Description
Summary of the duties and responsibilities.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for providing efficient and professional reservations and sales services to customers and will be required to:
- Sell Catcocos tickets, process payments and issue booking confirmation numbers and/or boarding passes.
- Accurately enter, amend and maintain reservations in the Company’s reservation system in accordance with established procedures and policies.
- Process last-minute bookings, including bookings received from Destination Management Companies (DMCs) monitoring and following up outstanding reservations.
- Providing prompt, professional and accurate information to customers by telephone, email and in person and handling customer enquiries effectively.
- Assisting with the management of walk-in customers and sales queues, particularly during peak periods.
- Providing efficient customer service and assisting the Reservations and Sales Department with other operational duties as required.
- Ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, service standards and the Quality Management System.
- Prepare sales reports and other relevant reports as required by the Manager.

Job Requirements
Minimum Job entry requirements.
Applicants should possess the following:
Post-Secondary School Certificate in Business Studies, Tourism or a related field.
And/or
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years’ relevant experience in a reservations, sales, customer service or related position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with reservations, ticketing or customer-service software.
- Willingness and flexibility to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays as required by the Company’s operational needs.
Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of modern sales techniques and customer service practices.
- Good understanding of the tourism industry, its markets and key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening, customer-service and interpersonal skills
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Confidence, patience, tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers, including in difficult or challenging situations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- A genuine commitment to maintaining and continuously improving customer service standards.
