Job Description

We are seeking for an experienced Retail Sales Representative to join our team in APEX.

The Retail Sales Representative will provide outstanding customer service and meet sales quotas to achieve the store’s sales goals.

They will ensure a positive shopping experience for customers by understanding their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on products, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
  • Offer expert advice on products and services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Process transactions accurately, including cash handling of debts due

Sales:

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Demonstrate and explain merchandise to customers to boost sales.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Participate in promotional activities and campaigns.

Store Maintenance:

  • Ensure the store is well-stocked.
  • Assist in merchandising, display setup, and stock management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the management.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on the latest product features and benefits.
  • Enhance product knowledge
  • Share feedback from customers with the team to improve product offerings.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • Provide support to new staff members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Sales with some understanding of pricing and profitability
  • Two to three years RETAIL and category (FMCG) sales / marketing experience
  • Good communication, Presentation, Planning and decision-making skills
  • Understand and execute Sales process
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Flexible and able to operate in a divers and dynamic market
  • Must be able to develop winning customer relationship
  • Enjoys challenges and be able to identify opportunities for improvement and change
  • The ability to build and maintain long term partnerships
  • Delivers sustainable and profitable results
  • Builds customer relevance through good account management and ensure we deliver best in class service to RETAIL
  • Excellence in execution on all the steps of a call Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in using SKYNAMO and SYSPRO systems is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
