Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Executive / Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about home improvement, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing product information and recommendations
- Maintain strong product knowledge across home décor, lighting, sanitary ware, and building materials
- Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking
- Support promotional displays and in-store marketing activities
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- *Actively contribute to team discussions on improving sales strategies and enhancing the client experience*
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail experience, preferably in homeware or hardware
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- A good eye for design and presentation
- Fluent in English; French or Creole an advantage
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8.00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: TBC
