Job Description
Position Overview
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports the Sales & Marketing Manager and Executive in executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and coordinating marketing efforts. This role helps drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management:
- Assist in developing sales strategies, nurturing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and event planners.
- Identify new business opportunities and tailor destination packages to meet client needs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client issues.
- Assist with booking system usage and partner training.
Marketing Strategy Execution:
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels (social media, SEO, print, direct mail).
- Conduct market research to align marketing efforts with industry trends and customer demands.
Collaboration & Networking:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Leverage networking opportunities to generate new business and expand market presence.
Cross-Department Coordination:
- Collaborate with Operations, Transport, and Reservations teams to ensure smooth execution of VIP arrivals, bespoke programs, and special client requirements.
- Coordinate logistics for high-profile, customized client experiences.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports on sales activities, trends, and marketing efforts.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to optimize strategies.
Database & Marketing Materials Management:
- Maintain an up-to-date marketing database and oversee the distribution of promotional materials aligned with company branding.
Sales Negotiation & Pricing:
- Assist in negotiating deals with hoteliers and tour operators, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and target new online markets and tour operator channels to expand the client base.
- Contribute to strategies that drive visibility and revenue in new markets.
Management of Sales References & Channels:
- Oversee and optimize various sales channels, ensuring accurate tracking and consistency across platforms.
- Monitor performance of each channel and adjust strategies to improve conversion and sales outcomes.
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce and IT teams to ensure seamless digital presence and effective client engagement.
Filing and Data Keeping Management:
- Keep sales conditions and booking records up to date.
- Maintain and organize marketing database.
- Coordinate distribution of marketing materials.
Marketing Support Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing the annual marketing plan, contributing ideas for market expansion.
- Help identify new market opportunities and coordinate action plans to target those markets.
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives, providing feedback on performance.
- Collaborate with PR, Branding, and Marketing teams to promote Creole Travel Services and contribute to e-news content.
- Assist in creating marketing proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Help create and update hotel fact sheets and other marketing materials.
- Develop strategies to target new online markets and tour operator channels.
- Increase visibility and revenue from online and tour operator partnerships.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
TRAINING (SKILLS):
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in reporting and database management.
- Proactive & Results-Driven: Self-motivated, with a focus on achieving sales and marketing goals.
- Collaborative: Strong team player, able to work cross-functionally with different departments.
- Client-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the travel, tourism, or destination management industry.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8AM – 4:00 PM
- It is expected that you will have to work beyond normal hours at times to meet operational exigencies
Special Working Conditions
- Full-time position, with occasional travel for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
- Flexible working hours may be required based on business needs.
