Security Officer – Inter Island Boats Ltd-Cat Cocos (3 positions)

Job Description

Summary of the duties: 

• Responsible for crowd controlling in the Sales Offices on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue and on embarkation, disembarkation, during cargo loading and unloading and in cabin during transit.
• Ensure the security and safety of the staff in the cabins by regular patrol during trips to ensure safety and security of staff and other customers.
• Control and or neutralize fraud transactions / fraud tickets/ and any other frauds onboard all vessels, embarkation points and sales offices when and as required.
• Report all incidents, accidents through the Incident Report Form as well as to verbally notify to the Captain/Manager on duty.
• To ensure the safety and security of the sales offices, offices, buildings, vessels, its assets, staff members , crew, cargo, and passengers.
• May be required to carry personal defense equipment.
• Any other related duties.

Job Requirements

Minimum entry requirements.

• Secondary five level of education with recognized training course in Security Operations.
• Plus four years satisfactory relevant post qualifying experience.
• Have very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have good command of written and spoken English and French.
• Customer care skills.
