Job summary
Provide direct supervision of staff to install, maintain, and repair electronics equipment and fixtures
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure that task carried out is in accordance with relevant codes, regulations, and standard.
- Install or service security screening equipment including CCTV equipment, all Fire Alarm system, Fire Trucks Electronic and Computer system, Public Address Systems and Visual Aids equipment
- Assist with installation of electrical, refrigeration and electromechanical equipment as and when delegated
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Able to do different kind of cable joint and electrical wiring terminal.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes or standards.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Assist with plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes and standards.
- Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes and standard

Job Requirements
Entry requirements:
- City and Guilds Technician Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years as electronic technician.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses, repair and maintenance
