Job Description

Post Title: Senior Engineer

Section: Policy & Regulatory Affairs

Responsible To: Director

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the following;
• Review and implementation of the necessary legislation, policies, guidelines, strategies and procedures for development of the telecommunications sector.
• Development and implementation of agreements and licenses for the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) sector.
• Liaison with regional and International agencies/organizations.
• Formulating recommendations on telecommunication matters.
• Conduct policy research activities.
• Draft periodic progress reports.
• Collaborate with Engineers from other units or section on matters that overlap with Strategic Development Unit.
• Performs any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Director.

Benefits

Salary Point: SB5

Job Requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements:

• Post Graduate Degree in Electronics and/or Communications Engineering; Or
• Bachelor Degree in Electronics and/or Communications Engineering plus 3 years satisfactory relevant work experience; Or
• HND in Electronics and/or Communications or Equivalent plus 7 years satisfactory relevant work experience
