We are seeking highly motivated candidates to join the Seychelles Financial Intelligence Unit in the above position.
Job Description
As a Senior Legal Officer, you will provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters related to the FIU’s mandate, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and legislative review. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing appeal cases, and advising on contracts, MOUs, and internal policies. You will also supervise junior legal staff, monitor legal developments, and represent the FIU in forums and technical missions.
You will contribute to the development of legal strategies, ensure alignment with AML/CFT obligations, and support the Unit’s engagement with stakeholders. Important qualities for this role include analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, strong legal writing and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will hold bachelor’s degree in Law, successful completion of the Bar Exam, at least 3 years of professional experience in a legal department or law firm.
